Heavy welded assemblies, machined and painted.
Robot and manual welding, large-envelope CNC machining, painting and assembly under one roof — in series, at a Central European cost base.
The largest plant of the Aries Group
Aries² builds the heavy end of the Aries range: frames, booms, chassis parts and structural assemblies that are welded, machined after welding, painted and often fully assembled before they leave.
Nine welding robots run the repeat work; more than fifty qualified welders take the parts robots cannot reach. A Pama boring and milling machine finishes weldments up to 10 m and 5 t, so bores and faces are machined after welding distortion, not before.
Tornaľa sits in southern Slovakia near the Hungarian border, about 90 km west of Košice. Cut blanks come from our sister cutting plant Aries⁴ Raciostyl, and the plant works with the same engineering team as our French plant Guret.

Frequently asked questions
- How large can a welded assembly be?
- Robot welding takes parts up to 14 m long and 3.5 t. Machining after welding takes parts up to 10 m and 5 t on our Pama machine.
- Is the welding certified?
- Yes. The plant is certified to ISO 3834-2, and our welders and welding procedures are qualified to EN ISO 9606-1 and EN ISO 15614-1.
- Can you deliver painted, fully assembled products?
- Yes. We powder coat or liquid paint, then mount hydraulic, mechanical and electrical components and test before shipping.
- Where is Tornaľa?
- In the Banská Bystrica Region of southern Slovakia, close to the Hungarian border, about 90 km west of Košice.
